Songster
We found a rat snake in our Muscovy’s nest that she had been laying on. We removed the snake, but it was very large and had a horrible odor. When I opened up the coop, I could smell it even after the snake had been removed. The Muscovy did sit on the nest for a little while the next day but then abandoned the nest. Im not sure if it was because of the snake odor. I’m going to remove the nest. Should I also remove the entire area of pine shavings inside of the coop? I don’t want the smell to deter her in the future. I don’t notice the smell now.
