In researching differences of a certain breed in America compared to Australia I came across this Online Australian SOP. It's much better than the scanned pages of a century old APA SOP available online.

For American breeds the Australian SOP adheres to late 20th Century APA standards. Small differences may be found like five degree variance of tail set from America's current SOP but as an online reference guide I find it easy to access and valuable information. I set the link to chicken breed page, click on the breed you are researching and it's all there, illustrations and varieties.

I'm liking the Australian SOP better than the American one more and more. It seams to me after reading some of breed entries that they focus on the foundation more and less on the color. The Ameraucana/Araucana have so many colors there. Like every color old English can be.
