Splash Sebastopol gosling == male or female? *(PICS)*

Hi, My lone gosling that hatched out of a batch of 18 eggs is supposed to be a Sebbie splash, not sure on sex though. The goose thinks it is a human, since it was the only hatchling and basically lived like a person for the 1st 8 weeks of its life. Any guesses? He/she is staying no matter what, we've all become very attached.

looks like a splash or gray to me... but it's still early to tell...

That is a splash. Grays are very dark at birth and have black bills. Do you know the colors of the parents? A white goose and gray gander produce male splashes and gray females. The opposite is true of gray goose to white gander.

You will need to vent sex it to be sure!

With splashes, it's impossible to tell at that age.
