Does anyone have a sliding barn door as your walk in door to your henhouse? Does it work well? Is it tight enough to keep unwanteds out?
House will be 12x20, roughly following a 1950's plan that has a 4' barn door. I think it would be great for cleaning. What cons can you see?

Depends on how big of a gap between door and framing and floor/ground there is.
I imagine that rodents(mice/rats/weasels) would have easy access but not anything much larger.

I use these on my slider door on my pole barn. These close the gap at the bottom but not at the top like @aart points out because of the roller assembly...You could add a trim board all the way around to close the gap, but still allow the door to slide.

Edited to add... It still won't be a super tight door. Just help closing the gap more.

Do you have to screw them down each time you close door?
Pics of install would help here.
No, there's a slight adjustment here and there just because the door doesn't sit in the same exact spot each time it's closed but it's minimal. I have my slider door locked down for winter so it's tightened up and got gaps blocked for winter. But like I said, a door trim would help tighten that gap up.
Also note the metal plate attached to perlin for hook for added strength/security.
