Wellll, I think it possible that I'd have to trade in my horses for sea horses (though it Betsy's case, a sea turtle would probably be more appropriate). And I'm not really keen on drinking the water in that moat-in-the-making; mosquito larvae make me gag when they get stuck in my throat.

Festivities? Did someone mention a "Float your Moat" party? We floated our moat last week. Party time!





This was a few hours before the rain stopped. (we had 24 hours worth. about 6 inches. Some got 8") The next morning it went past the second tree and the wagon wheel was in the water.

It's usual for spring and occaisionally in the fall. Not so usual for summer.
