I have one chick that just hatched 2 days ago that had a couple small pieces of shell stuck to its back I didn't want to open the incubator to get it off because I had several eggs pipped in there. The next day I opened the bator and took it out and used a damp paper towel to soften and loosen the stuck shell and other goop but it still has stuff hardened on it.It just looks like its wet but it is like a hard super glue like substance. Should I try to bathe it to get that off or should I leave it? If bathing is the right choice should I use shampoo or just try to soak it off? I would blow dry it after giving it a bath and put a heater in my bathroom to warm it up good first.
