Rooster confirmation - Is this a Chantecler?

We just got a cockerel that we were told is a Chantecler. Just want confirmation since his current feathers look like the coloring of Chantecler chicks.





I'm pretty sure he's a Chantecler, but if he isn't I'd like to know before letting him breed with my Barred Rock to make more for selling.

It's definitely not a Chantecler rooster which are primarily brown with cushion combs. It looks like a Pioneer (Dixie Rainbow) rooster.

Weird, because he has some green tail feathers coming in and I haven't seen that with the pioneer breed. Otherwise he really does look like a pioneer, so maybe he's a barnyard mix.

You're liable to see almost anything with Pioneers. Some of the hatcheries that sell them state that they have "one of the most unique feather color patterns" and that "no two birds look alike."
