I was looking at this product to treat mite in budgerigars, but see that it can also be used in water against Red Mite in Poultry. I had a really bad red mite infestation in my chickens last summer and managed to get rid of them by dousing my coop in creosote and constant use of DE. Has anyone tried this product to revent red mite in their chickens - the weather is starting to warm up and preventive action should be taken? I use a product called Red Stop which is also water soluble but I am not sure if it effective or not. S76 sounds like it could be stronger? All ideas much appreciated, thank you

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I am located in the UK - it is early spring - daytime temps of about 42F., night about 32F I have Pekin bantams and 4 Rescue battery Hens.
