Raw Red Wine Vinegar instead of Raw ACV?

My husband makes his own red wine vinegar, and I'm wondering if it would work the same as ACV? Since we always have some around, it'd be easier to use??

Bumping this up as we had a record breaking grape harvest this year. Would love to know how to make it also. Have a 5 gallon batch of concord grape wine just starting and a 4 gallon jug to transfer it into. A gallon of red wine vinegar would be awesome.

Being a brewer/distiller, I would believe that any kind of raw fermented foodstuff is great for their gut and acts as a probiotic.
