Wish we were closer to each other. Indianapolis to Missouri is a bit of a stretch, but I'd help you out on the Turkens.
Curious if you kept any Naked Necks, or are getting completely out of the breed? I'm considering getting into them next year and wondered what your experiences were.

They are great birds. Excellent winter layers and they take the heat of summer very well. Very good butcher birds. Turkins naturally have fewer feathers, not just on the neck but the body as well. They mature fast too. I usually butcher my extra cockerels at 4 months and they usually weigh at least 4 pounds dressed. Pullets usually start laying at 7 months. Excellent temperament, one of those breed that want to be around people.

Jeeze i wished i lived out there too... I want Bantams!!!! but I'm all the way in California.....
