What's the coldest weather you've ever experienced? What's the hottest?

The coldest isn't really that cold - 12° F maybe?
The hottest was 115° F.

Not certain. Definetly below 30 if I am using my brain right here. Hottest? Probably the 115F day in CA (the thermometer said 120F. The car also decided the air conditioning wasn't gonna work right either. Wasn't a pleasant ride.)

-40*F (or *C, doesn't matter) for the lowest, and around 102*F for the highest.

Coldest winter was the year before we moved here, and we had -30F air temps (colder with wind chill). The hottest was probably 108.

Both are VERY rare here. Lake Michigan really insulates us against both extremes.

IDK. Coldest was probably mid to upper teens. Hottest* was probably 100+ with humidity.

*Also a summer traveling through the DSW. Might have been 98, might have been 117. I don't remember. I do remember Phoenix having the hottest damn asphalt my feet have ever felt.

Now you know why I wear sandals all year.

Did you just say you wear sandals all year? Well, I do. I wear barefeet where possible and sandals almost everywhere else.

Down here we wear western or work boots all day because if the blazing asphalt doesn't getcha the Medicago polymorpha will. Theres also pit vipers, fire ants, scorpions, ticks, parasites, brown recluse spiders, and broken beer bottles to watch out for. Sandals don't cut it because you're going to get bit or impaled right in the exposed foot.

Honestly probably too often.

We’ve gotten up to about 105 here, occasionally. -40 quite a few times
