I haven't had a problem except yes they will eat all eggs found.
We used to have them together 24/7 for a few years but have since penned the pigs just because we added a few more and they were destroying too much of the yard. All the birds can easily enter and exit the pigs pens and do frequently especially when its feeding time for the pigs.

Recently got out of guinea pigs, turkeys and pigeons.
Now if I can get out of a few more things I can get more chickens.

I didn't care much for them besides they're cool to look at. We don't eat any of our birds so that would of probably made a difference.
IMO poults are really that hardy compared to others and turkeys especially poults eat a ton. I didn't think they were very cost efficient or at least not on a small scale.
The hens were fun but toms were a pain. Toms get bad when housed with other birds sometimes. I had them kill pullets trying to breed them.
