Pigeon Breeders: Can Any Be Raised for Squab?

I am really not sure what type it is, but it is white with brown and it has like a metallic green and metallic mauve color on the neck area when light hits it just right.

You can eat any size of pigeon. When I had rollers, I ate the extra ones. Only meat worth going after is the breast as the wings and legs are very skimpy on meat.

I am not wanting to eat the bird but find it a home.

Roller are small birds,and runt are huge ,but runt to slow of a producer.

Any can be eaten, but dont ask a racer for Squab.

Best to get king ,but not the show kings. Ones that look like over size white homers.

Most people like the white feather birds, just like chicken and turkey for meat.
