Potato the chicken is curious about my camera (Buff Orpington)

my Buff comes running when i take my camera out. Shes most curious of all my hens <3 Yours is a beauty.

Canopies are not big enough to cover our coops. I have a large vinyl tarp I'm cutting up into pieces that will cover the areas that can let blowing horizontal rain in. It's blowing rain that gets us not the downward falling rain. We had to learn as we went and still learning as we go. Working on drop curtains for rain that can be rolled up for needed ventilation.

I have precut clear tarp that i keep ready for any windy rain in the forecast. If thats the case, I run outside and staple it around the run. I remove when its done. I hate windy rain as a chicken owner. It always passes tho!

She turned out to be a roo and so so handsome and has found a forever home with 3 of his brothers on a farm in Farmersville Texas
