Pet Peeves

Wow, didn't know. I knew there were different varieties & types of chickweed but I thought they'd at least all share similar traits...being delicious 😋 for chickens.

There are plants that resemble it. Luckily, I've never eaten those.

Or do you mean the plant called Chickens & Hens? It is a succulent type, very different.

No, I mean chick weed. The elk ate out hens and chicks....😅

Something I read as one of the best tips for newbies: Have two hives, not just one. The reason is, when you're new, you don't know what everything should look like, and it's VERY helpful to have another hive to compare it to.

I wish we'd done that.
One of my new neighbors has 2 hives, too. I've been reading 3 different books on beekeeping. Went to a beekeeper meeting & learned about types of hives. It's such a cool hobby. 🐝 Save the bees! ❤️

I wouldn’t classify that as pet peeve material, but hey, to each his own. The plan is to have a lot more than 2 hives. When you take what nature sends you, it’s kinda out of your hands. 😇

That I have so much laundry even though I don't deviate from my token 5 outfits like a cartoon character.
2nd peeve: why does a mini laundry pile appear where the big pile was as soon as you start the load?
