I had a coworker who insisted she "had to know where Sally was at all times!"

The building was laid out strangely, and you could walk around looking for someone who was walking around looking for you. She'd walk around, looking for me, while I was chasing down something/someone else. One time she spent about 10 minutes doing this, and when I came out of the bathroom, she went off on me.

"Where have you been? I've been looking all over for you! We're almost out of XYZ!"

"So order some more."

"I don't know how to do that!"

"Do what we always do. Go to Kathy's office and tell her we need some."

"Oh."

These are the same people who, when you are telling a story, have to butt in with their own 'better' story. With one co-worker I started exaggerating the circumstances just to see how far-fetched their stories would become.
