No the insinuation was that the end may be near.
Never had a job where you were given a handbook etc that required your signature and saw anyone refuse to sign and be able to keep the job.
I agree i would not leave a good job over such things. No thinking I'm above companies policies. At least not right from the jump.
Maybe prove myself then see what I can slide. Ya that sounds like a Moony.

I've never had a job where the handbook didn't come after the being hired.
Usually get hired then handbook on the first day of actually working. been a long time since I've had one of those fancy type jobs.
Thinking you've been there a couple weeks now? It would be strange to wait that long. Maybe there's a running joke in there somewhere that they haven't completely explained to you.
From your first post it seemed awful silly for a job you were excited to get to be like screw their rules right from the beginning.
