Pet Peeves

When you need to fix or replace multiple things all at once.
Like post hurricane, when your fence is down, exposing your pool, your roof is missing shingles and your chicken coop needs repair so the chickens can go outside, rather than stay in the laundry room another day.
Is that the kind of thing you are referring to? :lau

Almost…Except add that the toilet water is constantly running, your water heater has a leak and the dryer a**ed out.

Oh, and you also still need to fix or buy a new car too.

Y'all could move down here to NOLA. I'd be happy to teach you how to live like a local. :hugs :hugs
Don’t know where NOLA is, but if you get lovely nice weather daily you are indeed fortunate, soon enough here it will be winters icy grip, an snow will wrap the earth in a glistening white mantle.

“In winter's tedious nights sit by the fire With good old folks, and let them tell thee tales Of woeful ages, long ago betid”
(Shakespeare: Richard II)

NOLA. is New Orleans, Louisiana. Snow and ice is rare here in South East Louisiana, however we do have a hurricane occasionally.
Your Shakespeare quote is so true, even if there is no other reason than to know your family's background.
