Partridge chick? Female??

I accidentally got a slightly striped chipmunk-ish baby in my last hatch, and it is developing a partridge-like feather pattern. Can I safely assume it's a girl based on the coloration??

Dad is a Buff Orpington x Leghorn, and mom is either a pure Buff Orpington or another Orp x Leghorn mix. I was -trying- to hatch eggs from just one Buff Orpington hen, but I think someone else must have laid this one?! Those are the only two types of hen I have, with just the one rooster.

Baby is only 15 days old so too young to sex otherwise.

It's not a sex linked cross, so have to wait until 6 weeks or so to start trying to determine gender.
