Orange Mottled Chicken!

WOW, AMAZING! Prior to writing in about my little "oddball" I saw a picture of your little "oddball". Which is what got me started. Little did I know when I pulled her from the freaked out bunch of rescued chickens crammed into a quarantine room that I would have a special girl! Not that they aren't ALL special......

Well, unfortunately my little "Sunflower" came down with fowl pox and has been living in the house for almost 3 weeks. Her
lesions have all fallen off now

and she looks almost normal again. She was looking pretty bad for awhile and couldn't see out of that eye but is now happy to be inside while the others are enduring the subzero temps and ice storms that we've been having up here.

BTW: She also has 5 toes and spurs and weighs 4 pounds.

Does anyone have advice on when she can rejoin the group outside in regard to the pox virus? I wouldn't move her from 68 degs to neg 5 degs anyway, but when it warms up....how long does everyone wait after the virus recovery?
