Well, not too far north...hello from the Edmonton area!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New, yes. Have none yet.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
(3) What breeds do you have?
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, reading, motorcycle touring, general puttering!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We live on a fairly large acreage about 1/2 hour from the city where we work. We have been here 7 years. We have 4 dogs, 5 horses, and about 5 or 6 barn cats.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
