Newly hatched duck can't hold it's head up??

My little duckling was just born, and he needed some help because he was in a weird position. Well, now that he's hatched, he can't hold his head up, and it's kind of tilted to the side. Is this normal? I didn't get to see my other ducklings be born so I don't know.

I just don't want something to be wrong with his neck.....

How newly hatched is he? It can take an hour or so before they start seeming coordinated. They are EXTREMELY floppy and weird looking when they first hatch. If you had to help him out, it will take him longer to gain his strength and start acting normal. I wouldn't worry until it's been a few hours. Good luck to him!

He's all fluffed up, and definitely has a bad neck. My guess is that he was in the egg too long so it made him "deformed" in a way. His neck is a little out of balance and leans to the side. Anything I can do for him??? Neck brace, or something?

Wry neck, maybe? I've never had that happen, so I don't know. I hope someone answers soon for you... Sorry!
