Sounds like you are off to a good start. You might want to get more hens to keep the roosters happy, but then again, it depends on the type of chickens you have. We have had roosters in the past that were very agressive. We have Partridge Rock now and have never had any trouble with them, even when there were more than needed.
Great Pyrenees are also great livestock guard dogs and pets. We had one that died from old age and now have a cross with a Commandor (sp?).
