In the Brooder
Hi Everyone! I’m Ben, and my family and I are just starting our new flock.
Don’t have any Chickens yet, but believe we’ll have 20 by mid-week.
We are getting 15 Jersey Giant
, 3 Barred Rock pullets, and 2 ISA Brown
Starting a New “Family” hobby is something that I am pretty excited about. Wife and I live with our Son, Daughter-in-Law and 3 grandchildren.
Number one “hobby” is hanging out with my grandkids.
Have a total of 6 grandkids. 3 in the same house (11f,3m,1f), 1 in California (f9) and 2 in Utah (9m,4f). Love to drive cross country to visit the ones out west. When they come visit us here in NC, they have all expressed excitement about the chickens.
Came across BYC while looking for ways to get all the birds home in the car. Joined when I realized that I wouldn’t have to bring the dog crate for my Caucasian Shepherd.
