New chicken owner, hello

Hello just wanted to jump in and introduce myself. I am from North Carolina, im a retired registered veterinary nurse turned professional pet sitter. While I was trained about chickens for my degree, I started becoming interested in keeping some myself after I had a client ask me for pet sit hers for 2 weeks. It was love at first cluck. We just ordered some Crested Polish pullets (2) and will be picking them up from the breeder at the end of the month. Im very excited to be here and learn as much as I can.
