My spoiled Muscovy gal

I just wanted to share with y'all the sounds of my extremely spoiled Muscovy, Cheech (link below). We found her alone in a parking lot when she was a day old (we think) and then raised her in our apartment for the first year of her life, so she's pretty attached. Now that she lives outside with her mate and 3 newbies, she definitely misses the luxuries of apartment living, mostly cuddles. I've heard a lot of strange Muscovy sounds but never the cries of one desperate to be held she's currently in my lap with her beak buried in my armpit. I love her so much!

Awww, Cheech is the sweeetest. We used to have three Muscovy ducks and one of them (Dumpling was his name) would run up to me and sit on my feet until I put him on my lap, then he would put his head on my shoulder or under my arm. I guess muscovy ducks are very cuddly

She's so sweet! It must be very hard when she cries like that not to pick her up. So lovable!

I wish my Muscovy's would let me cuddle them. Or even touch them. I have 2 out of 6 that will just barely let me touch them.

I usually hold her while doing some maintenance around their run. Otherwise she will just follow me around and cry. She's a good needy girl.
