My pond.

Man! I want a pond! Now to dig a hole about 200 feet deep so I can divert water from the seasonal stream about 3000 feet away

I am still learning about them, but Moscovies are not descended from mallards like most ducks. They are "tree ducks" and don't need water to swim in, only for drinking. I have given them a small pool to keep water in and they never use it either. They prefer to wander around the farm grazing and chasing bugs.
