My husband and I live in Eastern Oregon with our little brood of animals.
I have had chickens for a little while just for eggs. roughly 16.
I recently acquired 8 silkies and have questions about breeding etc.
I have leghorns, bardrock, Wyandotte, easter egger, and Silkies
What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Eggs, and temperament
What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, art, reborn art, all sorts of thread art etc
I have 3 dogs 1 GSG Her name is Ukiah she protects her domain including her flock. 2 Imperial Shi tzu's 4lb Peanut boy, and 9lb Timber boy 0both believe all our pets and chickens are their family LOL We have 2 outdoor cats Ms. Lily and Black Jack the critter getters of the land. All get along with each other very well and respect each other's boundaries.
I joined today because as I kept searching for information on all things chickens this page always came up in the search and found it to be very helpful.
