This is a journal for my Gamefowl farm. I will post updates and pictures whenever I can.
So far, I have just one line. My Thai Asil crosses. Pictured is a bad pic of my male. And a worse pic of my female.
I will be getting updated pics of them and a brooder of their chicks. I am hopefully going to get a pair of Redquil soon. This will be very helpful when I am looking up ages and dates in the future.

Well first update: My hen has decided to start another brood. She has just decided to lay an egg. She should start to brood in about 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

Here is the camera dump I promised. Below is Redquil over Thai, and Thai over Redquil. The Redquil are 6 months. The Thai are 10 months.
ETA ignore the leghorn in the back, she is just a placeholder.

The currant goal is to end up with a small bird. With a low-ish tail. That is well built with a pea comb and tiny wattles but retains much of the bankavoid body type. And Of course, GAME. Size is as small as I can get. Color I'll get to when I have the rest down.

I did breed the Americans and got a bantam sized chick off of them. She is tiny. She will likely not mature past two pounds if that. I am hoping to use her to bring them down on size.
