What can cause a hen to be lethargic and just be by the water sipping all day?

I don't know. How is the hen doing today?

She is OK. Still keeping to herself. I touched her between the legs and feels bloated compared to the others. But she is eating.

On the other hand, I had to get d-con mice bait boxes because saw about 6 mice at night roaming in their yard. Hoping these knuckleheads do not destroy the box to get to the candy,lol

@Sally PB @troyer where can i find a grain mill. Bought barley, millet, spelt, and wheat to make Ezequiel bread at the Amish store in Freemont but they didn't had mills.

I have ground oatmeal in my blender. I bought a used Champion juicer that had a grain mill attachment, and that's what I use for rice. Those are the only two I've done.

Before cooking on the rice. I made oat and rice flour for my GF sourdough.

The rice flour was still a bit gritty. I sifted the oat flour to keep out the "chunks."

Dreamz, it's not a very good idea to use mouse baits around your chickens. Baits make the mice sick before they die, and the chickens can more easily catch them and eat them. Birds can get exposed to poison that way.
That is how many owls are killed, by catching and eating rodents that are sick. And owls kill way more mice and voles and other rodents than any bait will.
