Mess free chick feeder hack!

I found a quick and easy way to make the plastic bottle/mason jar feeders actually mess free!

Just find pill bottles that will squeeze into the holes, cut them in half, and slide them in! These particular pill bottles are from Walmart pharmacies in Canada, but I would expect any pill bottle this size with a lip at the top would work.

Very clever.. you should get a patent and sell us some (or license it to little giant etc), I'm buying!

I HATE the mess made by those feeders and usually use something else despite already having them on hand. Funny enough, right now it's a ramekin dish with a large pill bottle in the center to keep them out of it.

My guess.. these original feeders were made by the feed company and not animal keepers, lol!

Such a minor modification would be so easy for them (manufacturers) make, thanks for sharing.
