Lonely Rooster

We had 3 healthy Roosters and decided to reduce to just one. After reducing the rooster population, the lone rooster acted very lame, and would hide in the corner. Within a matter of 4 days, it was dead. Can a rooster die due to being depressed/lonely? Or maybe this is just bad karma, from the other roosters? :/

Not knowing more about your flock and or the roo's other behaviors it's hard to say, it could have been many things.

Never heard of chicken depression... But who knows.
