Keeping a Nature Journal

Recently I have become interested in nature journals, specifically focused on birds. The type I am looking into uses mainly watercolour and ink, though anything is suitable. Does anyone here keep one? As I gather the supplies and hopefully begin my own, I will share my own photos, but for now, here are examples from a book I enjoy.

I am not very experienced with watercolour, but I hope to learn more.

Feel free to share general bird observations here as well, from studies or from personal experience. They all benefit these journals, in my opinion.

Very nice work! I love nature journals. I've tried it a few times, but I couldn't keep up with it. It's not as easy as it seems!
