Just a fun question... Can I paint my chickens nails?

This is NOT an emergency! I was just wondering, can I paint my chickens nails or will it hurt their nails? My girls often sit on my lap for a long time or until I get up so I definitely could successfully paint them! I was just curious! If anyone has done this before please comment! Thanks!

It's completely fine and none of the ladies pecked at each others feet once!

I do either bright reddish pink, or sparkly blue! My rooster loved his blue nails when he was younger.

Yes this is awesome. My 13 yr old daughter asked me to look it up…shoot, her Jinx gonna be painting the coop red tonight. Flippin’ floozy flock.

Tell her to make sure the polish is good and dry before letting the chicken go or there will be a dead chicken if they peck at wet polish.

I have painted my baby chickens nails and they where fine. just don’t paint them red or the chickens will attack each other.
