My name is Tim, aka Melancholy Bear. We live in ETN and are new to chickens and homesteading. We're making a go. I built a coop from reclaimed wood recently. We bought our six chicks yesterday. The breeds are 2 buff orpington, 2 sapphire gems, 1 rhode island red, and 1 some-type of green egger (can't remember now). We're really looking forward to raising them and enjoying them. Our homestead involves apiaries, two gardens, a quite-young orchard, and now chicks. It's good to be here.
