ISO silkie hatching eggs or chicks

I have two dozen silkie and silkie/bantam cochin I was trying to sell as I was going to set them myself and realized I will be out of town around hatch day.

I have never shipped eggs, but I've purchased them so see how they package them and have the means to do the same, although I do not know cost.

If you're only looking for pure silkie, these are backyard type and I can't tell the difference in the eggs, nor in the chicks unless I count the toes. (Silkies have 5). Some of both are fancy, some frizzle, black, black with chocolate, white, partridge, buff, and occasionally a blue. It's generally about 3/4 silkies 1/4 mix.

Again, I've never done this but after 3 days in chicken groups of trying to sell these, I've had no takers and just searched here and found your post.

I have 7 fancy silkies that are 4 months old, so this winter, I'll have to figure out how to separate their eggs from the backyard flock I have. Depending on what those chocolate ones turn out to be, I may try sex-linking. I'll probably just be hatching chicks though and no eggs to sell until next September, as that's usually when I stop hatching.

They look great! I may be interested in some eggs then. Let me know if you start shipping them please! We ended up getting like 18 more Silkie chicks at the feed store, and I am trying to hatch as many as I can, so I don't know if I will buy anymore eggs or chicks this year.

I bookmarked your reply so I'll be able to find you again should we be selling any in the future. I'm sure we will, I just am not sure when.

Did you ever find any good Silkies in Florida? I am looking as well. Looking for fertile eggs I can pick up or chicks to ship.
Sorry I did not reply sooner. We got silkie chicks at the feed store and hatched some of the eggs from our own silkies. We have eggs to ship now if you are interested
