Just to update, Kathy said maybe it could happen but then wondered if it was a thin shell. And yes, it's very thin and brittle. She hasn't responded to that. And this is in no way to call her out. I appreciate her responding as quickly as she did

The merle is my friends'. He is a beauty. The tricolor was in my lap giving me kisses within 10 of being there.
