Isa's Homestead Happenings and Hangout

@EverythingDucks I apparently have just acquired a house toad! At least until it warms up outside View attachment 3425873
He's dumb!
I've been caring for a rescue toad lately

Plastic storage bins work great for enclosures. I usually either drill holes in it, or cut out a large section and hot glue some screen.
I've been using paper towels for this little guy since he's injured, but dirt from outside works so long as it hasn't been sprayed with anything.
Little deli dishes can work for hides, just be sure there are no sharp edges.
Meal worms, crickets, or small earth worms work well for food.

How often to offer food, do you think?
