8 weeks old. Polish Silver Lace.
Her name thus far is Becky. She and her bff jibber jabber making sweet soft sounds together. Do you think I need to change her name?
My thoughts are...Pullet

Hen. Hens have very puffy heads and the rooster hair style is crazy, and they have pointy feathers on their head. Love your silver laced polish.
Thank you. Me too. She is my first. I also have a Black White Crested Polish. She is also pullet.
Yes, the Silver Lace Becky
Has rounded tail feathers, no saddle, no pink comb or waddles. Her tail feathers are rounded and organized. Her head dress is not wild and crazy looking.
When I did all the female chick tests when I bought her except vent checking, she kept responding like a pullet. I even hung her upside down and never she nevered tried to pull herself up like her hatch matchs that were cockrell.
Thats the reason I say pullet. I hope she is. I dont have a Rooster yet and really want to keep one out of the Hen house. Although, I did hear my neighbors Crow this morning and he is 2 weeks older.
