Is she done?

I have a Blue orphinton I think? I got her in the spring of 2018 and all the chickens started laying that fall but she hasn’t layed anything in months while the rest continue to lay could she be done ? she goes in the nesting box daily but doesn’t produce anything she’s totally normal otherwise just curious on your thoughts thanks!

I’m not sure on her breed, not a blue Orpington though. She is probably taking a break from laying.

Well when I got her they said Andalusian but her comb and wattles didn’t look right for that breed she lays light cream colored eggs

It’s most likely a blue Wyandotte

Would be a little early to be done, but she might be done for the year. You'll have your answer next spring if she resumes laying.

To update my crazy chicken who hasn’t laid an egg in maybe 8 months laid her first egg the day after a giant blizzard chickens! go figure
