I remember when $120 tennis shoes started coming apart within a few months of wearing them
I also remember when the same tennis shoes only cost $50 and lasted a lot longer...

I remember when tennis shoes were in the $1 range. Even then we had to go barefoot in the summer.

I remember when bottled water became big. I couldn't and still can't wrap my head around people paying what they do for a small bottle of water.
If I ever get on a drinking water kick and pay for it you'll see me carrying around a gallon jug of it.

I remember when one could get their learners driving permit one day and get their license the next day ! Now it’s graduated licensing take something like 3 yrs to get your regular class ‘G’ license.
