I have this pen…I remember wanting one for a while. I also had another one that had a pencil instead of the green ink. When I was doing math intervention with some kids at the elementary school, one boy loved it so much I gave it to him for a present. You would not believe that child’s look of joy over a simple pen!

We still get a phone book, but this is hicksville Wisconsin is why I suppose.

In Michigan we got phone books till about 2016. I haven’t seen even a business directory since then.

I remember the Denver phone directory, just the white pages was about three inches thick and the yellow pages the same. Moved to small town, USA and the directory for about six towns was about an inch thick, white and yellow pages combined. Could not use that as a booster seat for a toddler!

Yes, the tree stays up until Epiphany, so it goes up very close to Christmas, sometimes Christmas Eve.

I put our tree up the first Sunday of Advent and take it down on the Epiphany. Just seems right

We drill a hole in the corner and hang them in our macaw parrot cages. I have two parrots so they only get them every other year.
