That's one of my fondest childhood memories. The sound of rain hitting the tin roof, and the smell of the wet honeysuckle bush under my window.I remember the sound of rain on the tin roof outside my bedroom window.
Oh, and tube tops.I had a pair of bell bottoms with flowers on them that my aunt the hippy sewed for me.
I have a couple of friends who like to use a wringer washer. They say it's much faster (especially compared to the new efficiency washers). They stay there while washing and wringing but once it's one the wash line (most likely) or in the dryer, they are done until it's dry. They like to get it done and move on to something else rather than be changing loads all day long.Oh wringer washers, forgot about those!! We still had one that worked up until a few years ago in the garage. It was electric from the 50's (dangerous to get a finger caught in those). The pieces from the hand crank one and the tub and washboard are still around somewhere. I still have my old little red wagon (I pulled that thing everywhere with me as a kid) and my wooden metal runner sled (remember waxing up the runners to go sledding). hanging in the garage too. Gosh, the room I'd have if I would clean all that stuff out. LOL.
Spanky and Our Gang. Don't forget Alfalfa and Darla.I don't remember anyone mentioning anything about the little rascals???
Did anyone mention the 3 Stooges?I don't remember anyone mentioning anything about the little rascals???
