Hi! I've had chickens for about 2 years now and I LOVE them. I started off with 2 chickens and 2 ducks and now I have 3 ducks, 1 rooster, and 16 chickens! I have Australorps, Plymouth Rock, Barnvelder, Welsummer, Leghorn, and more. I am studying computer technology and raising chickens is what I like to do as a hobby b/c it allows me to get outside, relax, and do something non-tech related. I love animals so much and I especially love seeing my chicks grow into beautiful chickens. In addition to having my chickens and ducks, I also have 4 cats and a turtle!

Welcome!

Be careful with feeding daily treats. Makes sure you aren't feeding more than about a tablespoon per bird per day.
Feeding more than that takes away from them getting a balanced diet and not getting a balanced diet leads to preventable problems.
