Hi there! I am new to chickens, but I have been lurking in chicken groups on Facebook for about 3 years. I currently have four pullets that were hatched in August. I have a gold-laced Wyandotte, silver-laced Wyandotte, gray Brahma, and an easter egger.

I am from Colorado and live on a 35 acre ranch east of Denver with my family and two dogs. We plan on starting with chickens and graduating to cattle sometime in the next few years. I have a marketing and graphic design background, but I also enjoy sewing, knitting, and other creative hobbies.

In all my googling for answers with my new ladies, I kept ending up on BYC so I figured I should probably just join. There has been so much good information I am excited to keep learning!

I considered getting Easter Eggers but found a local source for bantams and got Sussex instead.
