How to prevent my coop floor from rotting

I bought a used chicken coop with a plywood floor which doesn't appear to have been treated with anything to prevent it from rotting. What's the best/cheapest way to treat it? Thanks in advance!

I stained my whole coop and it has kept it looking great and in tact throughout all weather so maybe it could be a good option for you

I don't know about the cheapest but many BYC coop builders have used Black Jack. I guess it is REALLY waterproof and you NEED that.

The rest of the coop is welded metal, very sturdy and in great shape. But the plywood floor is showing signs of wear. Did you use any special type of stain?

You can paint it with any kind of paint . Then cover it with linoleum flooring. I use rubber roofing in mine floor paint looks like new when I pull out the rubber to wash it . Coop is old like eighteen to twenty years .
