I'm getting 9 from 15,,not bad,,,1 escape artist still!!! haha!!! need all of them to kick in soon.Charging $2.00 a dozen....Boy,its hot out!!! Kevin ps ,,,congrats to all the first time people getting their first eggs!!!!!

Well I got my first egg in three months today. Id let my two broody hens set on a clutch of twelve eggs, six hatched and now that the babies are about eight weeks old I got an egg...

I now have one year old roo, two year old hens (really good mommies), one eight week old roo and five eight week old hens. I cant wait till they are all laying Ill have enough eggs to share with my dad.

the only problem is i need to rehome one of my roos, anyone near me want a Barred Rock roo?

2 from 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today another started laying....funny thing is, she layed IN THE FEEDER. and the feeder is three foot tall and metal...how do she do that?
