Only had our 1 year old 7 hens 6 days was getting 4 a day only 1 today. might have a problem.

9/12 yesterday and so far today 2. This is with one broody and I think I have another one going broody. The one that is broody is setting 2 eggs with a hatch day of Monday and the other if she is going broody I will let her set a couple eggs too.

Update I got 3 more when I got home and Z has definitely gone broody

I got my first egg that my Porcelain D'Uccle hen laid today.

slackers!! I turned their winter light (24 hour) off and now they just have daylight (14 hours) so maybe this is the reason. We will see tomorrow. They may still be adjusting.
