Our pullets just started to lay! We got 2 eggs from our 2 laying pullets (EE and Silver Laced Wyandotte), with the potential for a 3rd egg from our Faverolles who is showing signs of "new layer distress" (panting, not minding to be picked up, seeking our company). It's an exciting time here! We love our cute little pullet eggs.

Record breaking 12 from 14. They've just started laying on March 1. We have average capacity layers -- average out of this bunch should be 7.5 - Since mid March we've been getting 9 on average and the average for April is 10. These are some serious overachievers. Not that I'm complaining ...
