8... From 21 pullets. A lot haven't started laying yet and they are 7 months old which seems plenty old enough.

I got 7 eggs from 6 hens today! Ok - here's the deal: one of the hens dropped two soft shelled eggs underneath her roost last night - one was OK - in a "rubber" shell but the other was just yolk and white sitting in the tray. The other 5 hens laid 5 normal eggs so I know one of the hens got two - premature - eggs out.

3/9. They stopped for a few days because I left their light off in the morning. It;s been reset and the girls are right back at work! Now if only the other 6 would just catch up!
